Please take into consideration that mail takes from 10 to 16 days to get to Costa Rica from the United States. ALL DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. --- Cancellation Policy: If a cancellation is made 60 days or more prior to the scheduled trip, a full refund (less deposit guarantees at hotels, and less a US$100.00 handling fee) is made. The entire 50% deposit is forfeited if cancellation is received in our office 50 to 15 days prior to the trip. If cancellation is received 14 days or less prior to the trip, the full value is forfeited. We strongly recommend cancellation insurance.

Lodging Description: Tortuga Lodge, situated on 50 acres of private land on Costa Rica's northeast Caribbean coast, was our first hotel. It is now our newest hotel. The essence of Tortuguero is slow-moving tropical rivers. Everything about Tortuguero is defined by the rivers. They are Tortuguero's roads and Tortuguero's soul. If a visitor wants to bring home the essence of Tortuguero, he/she must get in tune with the rivers. The first 10 rooms built at Tortuga Lodge were dark and enclosed. Now whatever was useful from those rooms has been recycled into the community, and all the rooms at Tortuga Lodge have almost as much window area as the walls. All the 24 rooms have a nice view of the Tortuguero River, as they sit close to this beautiful water runway." |
