Try To Eat At Least 5 Fruits & Vegetables Each Day We would like you
to eat a minimum of seven fruits and vegetables per day. Heavier people
should be eating at least eight or nine fruits and vegetables per
day. I know
that there is only a sixteen percent chance that you currently eat at
least five fruits and vegetables per day, let alone at
least seven. I also know that there is only a four percent chance
that you eat at least nine fruits and vegetables per day. This
should change if you desire to get lean quick, and stay lean for the rest
of your life, as well as for you to live a long life. As you have likely
heard by now, fruits and vegetables have literally thousands of
antioxidants and phytochemicals that help to reduce your risk of getting
cancer, among other things. The BestLodging.com Diet incorporates fruits
and vegetables not only to facilitate fat loss, via low calorie density,
and high fiber, but for your health as well. I can already hear that you want to quit
this! I’m not trying to turn you into a vegetarian, but keep in mind that
you can eat most of all known vegetables, including, but not limited to
broccoli, spinach, zucchini, squash, asparagus, peppers, cucumber,
cauliflower, celery, and cabbage, to your hearts content, and they are
“free” on this diet. You should learn to like vegetables, because they can
really help with the hunger you may feel at times while dieting. They are
free because it takes almost as many calories to digest the vegetable, as
there is in the calorie content of the particular vegetable. These types
of vegetables have a lot of fiber, and a low glycemic load, which
helps keep you satiated. But if 7-9 fruits and vegetables is too
much you’ll be doing wonders to help your body if you just at least eat
4-5 per day, and get the rest in a supplement. You’ll typically find those
that claim they’re equivalent to 5 fruits and vegetables per day.
I’ve heard from friends that they would rather “die early” than eat vegetables (they'll eat fruit). This is while they eat mounds of processed junk food. They say they would rather remain obese than eat healthier and exercise more. But I remind them that when they are 60 years old and they are on their death bed that they will be sorry for neglecting their body. BestLodging.com Diet Overview |
