The Kauai Historical Society (KHS) was founded on May 7, 1914, by a small group of people dedicated to the preservation of Kauai County history. We are a small nonprofit dedicated to collecting, sharing, and preserving the history of Kailua, located on the windward side of Oahu in the Hawaiian Islands.
